Chris Connelly - Umpire in Chief

Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Chris Connelly and I am the Umpire-in-Chief for Kamloops.  Umpiring baseball has allowed me to experience things that I never imagined.  I have taken part in two National Championships, the Western Canada Summer Games, BC Summer Games, and multiple Provincial Championships.  During these numerous events I've toured the Hockey Hall of Fame, been treated as a VIP at a Blue Jays game, and allowed access to the RCMP training academy.  All of these experiences were a result of hard work, dedication, and being recognized for my efforts.  My goal is to develop and mentor each and every umpire in the KMBA system.  There would be no greater feeling than seeing one (or all) of you officiate at these events, and to experience your own amazing moments.

It's now time for another exciting season of KMBA beaseball!  We have completed our annual umpires clinic, and hope that everyone is brushing up on their skills.  Game schedules will be released soon, and the allocating will begin as soon as I receive those schedules.  If you show dedication, commitment and a desire to learn more with each game, you will be rewarded for your efforts.

If you have any questions, comments, or situations you wish to discuss please don't hesitate to contact me.  I'll be around the ballpark as well, never be afraid to stop and chat.

My email is the best way to get in touch:
